In-Person Retightening Class

Service Description

Many of you have expressed interest in learning how to retighten your own hair, well you now have the opportunity to do so. Here’s the deal: -You’ve invested your time and money on your locs -You deserve to protect your investments - You want to make sure if you are ever in a pinch, you have the skills to maintain your own locs Whether your intentions are to retighten a portion of your hair occasionally in efforts to cut down on cost, or for those situations where because of an event, your retightening can’t wait, taking this class will provide you with the tools necessary to retighten your own hair with confidence. Important! If you decide to take the class, it is essential that you leave enough new growth for us to work with during our class.  So be sure to notify your Sisterlock Consultant if you plan to take the retightening class so that they may leave out a portions of your hair (instructions will be prior post booking your session), or just take the class prior to your next retightening. Our retightening classes were designed to empower loc wearers to: - Acquire the skills that will allow you to maintain your locs correctly - Learn how to use the appropriate locking pattern for your hair - Implement tips to avoid compromising the grid, combining locs, and creating knots Individuals will receive: - 1-on-1 instruction in realtime - Retightening kit - 6 month support (includes 30-minute in-person retightening refresher session & loc repairs as a result of your self-retightening)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations: Things happen; things that make a mess of your schedule. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, 24 hours notice is required. If this notice is not given, you will be charged $15, due at your next appointment or prior. You will be charged $25 at your next appointment if there is a no call no-show. If your appointment needs to be rescheduled due to the "Give and Take" policy, you will be charged $15, due at your next appointment or prior. It's not just your responsibility; it's mine too. In the unfortunate event that I need to reschedule your appointment, and if 24 hours notice is not give to you, you will be given a $15 discount on your hair service or $20 for a no call no-show. Give and Take (Tardiness): I understand that sometimes there is traffic, or buses are running late, or you couldn't find your house keys. You will be granted a 15 minute grace period. However, if 15 minutes has elapsed after your scheduled appointment time, you may need to reschedule your appointment. In the event that I have time to honor your appointment, even if you are up to 20 minutes late, the late arrival fee schedule takes effect: 5-10 minutes late: $10 charge 11-20 minutes late: $15 charge These fees are due at your next appointment or at the time of your appointment. Same goes for me. If I'm running late, and you are kept waiting longer than the 15 minutes grace period, the following discounts take effect: 5-10 minutes late: $10 discount 11-20 minutes late: $15 discount
